  I was looking for somewhere to go as I'm new to the area. However, I had an experience similar to that of Jacks elsewhere and knowing this is happening here will not be attending Legacy anytime in the near future. I understand that this happens many places without it being known but when the church is aware and continues to allow attendance much less ministry?! not cool. I would love to know the name of the church that turned these adulterers away in the first place. That's a place I want to attend.

  The drummer is an adulterer, who's lover attends there (worshiping him not Christ). The pastor stood behind his adulterous musician without even consulting the offended spouse to verify or otherwise clarify the truths! This drummer is dangerous in many ways but he's truly a cancer to any congregation. He was previously turned away from a larger church (told to leave) because of hardness of heart. He had a wife who was wiling to forgive his indiscretion and move forward in marriage if a repentant heart were present. He is proud however, not repentant. This is not the kind of example you need in your church, but especially NOT up front and center leading worship.
  
  NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO GO! If you are a christian follower of Christ.

  From the moment I first walked in the doors, I felt welcome. Legacy is full of people who have become a second family to me. Immediately, I knew it was safe place to be honest about my struggles with no judgement, only direction to "go and sin no more." They seek to reach the unchurched/dechurched with the Gospel. Their methods are a bit unconventional, but so was Jesus'. I couldn't have picked a better church to do life with. Plus, the worship is pretty rockin'.

  Second church I visited when moving here. It has been such a gift, I got hooked in right away with people to serve, and there are small groups for all ages. My closest 6 friends now are the people in my small group. You will find bold truth spoken here, and people who will meet you where you are.
